Bucks Open Studios

Bucks Open Studios from 14-18 June and 21-25 June

Bucks Open Studio Brochure

For the first time in Wycombe High School history, we are participating in Bucks Open Studios - the largest visual arts event in the county organised by The Visual Images Group.  In the last two weeks of June every year, over 400 artists and makers, in over 150 different venues across Buckinghamshire, open their studios and run exhibitions and events for the public to visit.

Now in its 25th year, Bucks Open Studios 2010 will be their largest event yet, with 260 directory entries, involving over 450 artists and makers. They expect to exceed last year's record of just over 25,000 visits made to studios and exhibitions during the fortnight.

Details of participating venues are available on their website which can be found here http://www.bucksopenstudios.org.uk/exhibitorlisting.asp. Free full colour directories for Open Studios 2010 will be available from Wycombe High School Reception, Tourist Information Centres, libraries, art galleries, etc from late May.

Wycombe High School is offering interested parties to come and view the permanent collection on display of Art and Design Technology created by the students over the past academic year. Individuals are invited to call the school to make an appointment for daily tours lasting 40 minutes long led by Student Ambassadors.  If you would like to book an appointment please call 01494 523961 and ask to speak to Mrs Thomas who will arrange your tour.
