Wycombe High School works with World Challenge, which is a UK based school expedition specialist, to provide educational adventure experiences and expeditions overseas. The aims of the visits are to open students’ minds to new cultures, to teach important life skills and to assist personal development beyond the comfort of the classroom. The First Challenge programme is managed by World Challenge Expeditions, an educational organisation with over 20 years of experience. They have worked with over 750 schools and 50,000 young people. They provide professional safety back-up, supervision and training at every stage. They work with qualified and experienced First Challenge Leaders who will accompany the team whilst away, providing support and guidance throughout.
